Q.  What benefits are offered by the State of Kentucky?

A.   The State offers a variety benefits although the eligibility for some of them may depend on a variety of factors such as residency, disability status, and others.  For a summary of all benefits available, see https://veterans.ky.gov/About/Documents/Summary%20of%20Kentucky%20Military%20and%20Veterans%20Benefits.pdf

A.   Absolutely!  They do all kinds of things including special "Claims CLinics" to ehlp Veterans with VA and other claims.  You can get the latest list of scheduled events at their home page at https://veterans.ky.gov/Pages/index.aspx and they have a Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/KentuckyVeterans

Q.  Can the State help me with VA claims?

A.   You bet!  Of course, you can always make use of the Legion, but if you prefer talking to a State representative, they have to go through an accreditation process just like we do (it is requried by the VA and Federal law for all people that want to represent or even just help Veterans with VA stuff!).  To get more info abou tal ltha, see their website at https://veterans.ky.gov/Benefits/Pages/default.aspx

Q.  Who do I contact there?

A.   You can use their "Contact Us" form at https://veterans.ky.gov/Pages/contact.aspx or you can find the person who represents your County and contact them directly via https://veterans.ky.gov/Benefits/Pages/Your-Benefits-Representative.aspx
