The Woodford Post 67 Service Officer (PSO) currently works on a "contact us and we'll get back to you" basis. 


Howard Whitehead is now working at becoming an accredited Veteran Service Officer (VSO).  In the meantime, we have a new Post Service Officer (PSO), Mr. Paul Mounts.

Our goal is to try to help in any way we can, mainly by helping you find whatever resources you may need.


When it comes to the VA, unfortunately, that's all we can do.  Federal law prohibits Post Service Officers from completing or even providing counseling on completing VA forms.  What we CAN do is take down your basic information and forward it to a local VSO.  In this case, that would be John Costigan who works out of Georgetown Post 24.  If you want to skip the middleman, John can be reached at 502-395-1949 or by email at
